Bobby Land has been in the music business all his life, touring with his own band for years. He also played with several national groups. In the mid-60s, he recorded on Hickory Records, one of Nashville’s largest labels at the time, with a band called “The IN.” Bobby was the lead singer, keyboard player and songwriter for the group.


Bobby has written songs and been published by Acuff / Rose Music now owned by SONY / ATV Music. He is a BMI writer and has written hits including “It Says It All In Country Music”, which was recorded on the last album by Kenny Price, of the long running television show “Hee Haw.”

Bobby has owned his own publishing company and record label. He started the recording and tape duplication company, Musicland Productions in the late 80s, which he sold after 13 years. In his role as Producer, he has been responsible for starting the careers of many artists. Bobby is the author of the “how to” book, “How To Make It In the Music Business” which has sold thousands of units over the past few years. The book is still on the market and selling well in national distribution.


Bobby currently owns Pro Electronics of Ocala, the most well known electric guitar, vintage amplifier and music sales and service center in Central Florida. Bobby is also part owner of WITG FM, an “Oldies” format radio station in Ocala.


Bobby Land as a principal and founder operates in consultation with, but independently of the A & R department in Nashville, and as a recording artist liaison for the label..
